This site is dedicated to the memory of Peter Anthony Baldwin.
Peter enjoyed nothing more than being in nature, and as a young man spent much of his time birdwatching, canoeing and cycling around the country. He had a lifelong love for classical music, and also for travelling. Even when his breathing difficulties progressed, he didn't let it stop him from exploring the world, seeing places such as South Africa, the Philippines, Egypt, India, Australia, the list goes on...
Peter lived with asthma and COPD for many years, and if desired, donations in his memory can be made to the British Lung Foundation via this webpage.

Peter's careful and accurate programming and testing work for years on the Southern Water Income System helped make the lives of millions of people in Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight a tiny fraction easier by billing them accurately and helping them update their address when they moved - even though most people take such a level of service for granted. He was a valued member of the small team we worked in and his quiet patience and tolerance of the foibles of the rest of us and the demands of our employers make me glad I had the chance to work with him for so long. My only regret is that I did not know him when he was young and active.
